Affordable Low Fee Therapy Through Our Student Program

We carefully select the best and brightest of our Masters level student therapists to offer low fee therapy at Toronto Counselling Centre for Teens. You can count on them to be warm, kind and skilled. The therapists listed below receive a lot of support and mentoring here. Everyone seeing a student therapist essentially gets two therapists: the student that they meet with and a seasoned, wise therapist behind the scenes.

We love offering this program as it gives us a chance to offer therapy to anyone who is on a bit of a budget. In general, therapy services for students can be quite costly. However, therapy sessions for students offered here are available at $85 per session. Our students join us for eight month placements.

Toronto Counselling Centre is a wonderfully reliable, communicative and forward thinking practice - I highly recommend their services! The pace of my therapy has been set with an awareness for my personal comfort level and needs each and every session.  I’ve grown consistently and gained confidence taking action within my personal and professional communities. A rare gem in the city’s offering of therapy services, I have not aged out of or encountered restrictions from assistance offered by Toronto Counselling Centre. Not Accepting Clients for Runnymede & Bloor and Danforth & Chester

Sydney Wilson approaches her work with youth with a compassionate, non-judgmental, and empathetic mindset. She creates a safe and supportive space where children and teens feel comfortable being themselves, while helping them feel understood, validated, and empowered.

She sees clients on Thursdays and Fridays at our Danforth & Chester Location, and Saturdays at our Runnymede and Bloor location.

Please note that Sydney will be with us until December. If you reach the point when Sydney is done and you want to continue with therapy, don’t stress. We’ll have another student ready for you at that time and you’ll be able to continue on with low fee counselling. Most of our clients are feeling comfortable with their new student therapist within one or two sessions.
