Omar Bishir
Omar provides a steady and grounded presence in therapy, offering adolescents a safe space to explore their thoughts and feelings and gain insight into themselves. He understands that adolescence is often marked by uncertainty and shifting identities. His goal is to offer a supportive environment where teens feel respected, understood, and free to engage at their own pace.
With a deep respect for each person’s uniqueness, Omar supports teens in understanding their emotions and building stronger connections with others and themselves. He values authenticity and thoughtful reflection in the therapeutic process and works to meet clients with care and curiosity.
Omar is currently completing his Master’s in Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy at Wilfrid Laurier University. Before training as a therapist, he spent several years working in educational settings with adolescents, an experience that deepened his belief in their capacity for insight, resilience, and meaningful growth when provided with a space to feel seen and heard.
Outside of his work as a student therapist, Omar spends time reading, writing, and going to the cinema. He also enjoys cooking and quiet walks through the city, and particularly its parks.
