Ceilidh approaches her work with teens from a compassionate, non-judgemental, identity-affirming mindset. Her authenticity shines through in-sessions as she focuses on ensuring clients feel safe bringing their whole selves into the therapy space. Ceilidh remembers just how big everything feels as a teenager and wants to ensure her clients feel validated and understood in their experience. 

Ceilidh has worked with youth for over 10 years across disciplines, including as a psychological and education researcher, camp director, arts teacher, and childcare worker. Ceilidh has significant experience working with 2SLGBTQ+ teens which is informed by her own queer identity. Specifically, for her master’s thesis she developed and facilitated Rainbow Writes, a peer-led creative writing group to help queer youth with their confidence, self-esteem, and sense of belonging. 

Ceilidh graduated from her Master’s of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MACP) at Yorkville University. She has a prior Master’s in Community Psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University, which informs her inclusive, community-oriented therapy approach. Ceilidh draws from various modalities, her main influences being Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, Solutions-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) tools.

Outside of work and school, Ceilidh loves creative writing, cooking, musical theatre, yoga, and her pickleball community.

 

Ceilidh works with individual tweens, teens, adults, & families and couples.
